I've been using the same setup (Dell Studio 17 with Windows 8 Developer Preview) since the BUILD event. The touch screen fails to work on both Metro and Desktop mode. The mouse works fine. The operating system does register the touch events by rendering the 'touch points' on the screen, but Windows 8 fails to perform the associated tasks.
